Waylande Gregory (1905-1971) was a renowned American artist and designer, famous for his extensive sculptural creations showcased in prestigious institutions such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Whitney Museum of American Art, and The Smithsonian Institution. In the 1940s and 1950s, Waylande curated an exquisite range of decorative ceramics, which harmoniously blended natural motifs with his trademark color glazes and metallic embellishments. These timeless pieces have been reproduced and reimagined in the newest collection by the Waylande Gregory studio, an impressive display of exquisite decorative objects.
